A Regular Day at the Desk

The alarm/buzzer/whistle went off at six, and I stumbled out of bed. After a quick shower/splash of water/rinse, I threw on some clothes/attire/garb and headed to the kitchen for a cup of coffee/mug of joe/brewski. The usual morning commute/trek/jaunt was smooth/packed/a breeze. Once at my desk, I logged in/powered up/checked in and started sifting through the emails/messages/inbox. The day stretched ahead like a marathon/sprint/obstacle course, filled with meetings/deadlines/challenges.

Lunch was a quick sandwich/salad/grab-and-go snack at my desk, followed by an afternoon of brainstorming/typing/spreadsheet wrangling. By the time six rolled around, I was ready to clock out and escape the fluorescent lights/glow/buzz. The office felt like a zoo/hive/pressure cooker all day, but at least tomorrow is another day.

Rest When You're Dead

Life should be a constant race. Don't waste your precious time stressing over the grand scheme. Grab life by the throat and live it up. There will be plenty of time to catch some Zs when you're six feet under. So get out there, conquer everything life has to present.
